A Little About Me
Hey!
My name is Genesis Cabral, and I am a New York based creative graphic designer. I started my journey in graphic design in 2020, but I have been passionate about art making for as long as I can remember. I grew up being obsessed about drawing and painting for the rest of my life. However, when I found out about the world of digital design, it was like merging the best of all the things I loved about art. It was not just about making pretty pictures anymore. Graphic Design helped me find the voice I had been looking for all my life.
Besides working as a freelance graphic designer, I am an in-house graphic designer at the non-profit organization, YUCA Arts, where I also teach basics of photoshop and graphic design concepts. I love being able to use my knowledge and skill in this areas as it gives me the opportunity to share what I know while also challenging my abilities.
When I am not designing, you will find me spending time at the park, enjoying from the company of my family and friends or visiting my favorite places in New York City.
